My name is Sarah and having studied graphic design at university, and practicing for about 10 years, I decided to go into full time teaching - where I have stayed, working predominantly with 16 to 18 year olds. Being surrounded by creative people, colleagues and students within an art and design department is always inspiring, and I have increasingly found that I would like to balance the precision and technical side of my graphic specialism with something more functional that reflects my interests more broadly. Whilst education keeps me busy enough, I enjoy creating functional items that add a sense of fun and style to everyday activities.
