I had been supporting lots of Artists and Makers to develop their practice through my day job and thought I would have a go myself. The cushions were the beginning and bit by bit I have taught myself how to make new things and make them look a little more professional. It's so exciting to get a positive response for something you have made yourself and I have lots of ideas for more unique and fun products to make. I'm still in the early stages of selling in independent shops and at craft fairs and have just launched my web site - I hope to be selling the work through the web site soon! I have just moved back to Sheffield after 15 years away.
