Craft Candy

I trained as a woodwork metalwork teacher and after many years working in a variety of educational establishments I decided that a proper job wasn’t for me! So now I am a college lecturer in glass part of the week and spend the rest creating in the studio or teaching glass /willow work privately. I undertake restorations and design/produce unique commission pieces using glass using lead, foil, stained and kiln formed glass. My main ‘bent’ is leaded work using traditional methods of painting, staining and manufacture. I also dabble in willow sculpture from hares to full size horses and anything in-between. I do the usual Sheffield circuit of craft fairs/art events. My work changes/evolves but currently I am obsessed with landscapes & all things blue & green.
