Membership
Craft Candy is run completely by volunteers which means that all our members are incredibly important to our organisation.
Most of the decision making is done within the committee which meets regularly. Any member can join the committee, all other members can have a say at the Annual General Meeting which is held at the end of the summer.
Can anyone join?
Membership is open to Sheffield based makers or crafts people actively running their own business or planning to do so. We also accept people from the surrounding areas of Sheffield.
All we ask is that members be actively involved with the group, this might involve volunteering for the committee, promoting the group or distributing flyers for fairs.
Member Benefits
Membership costs £20 for one year.
- Promotion through the Craft Candy website with links to your personal website/blog, artists bio and photo.
- Access to members only network which includes a discussion board, classified section and info about events and opportunities.
- A discounted Stall at our Candy Fairs. (Please note members aren't guaranteed stalls at fairs.)
- Annual AGM where everyone has a say in how the organisation is run.
- 10% discount on workshops which are open to the general public.
- The chance to teach workshops.
- Regular newsletters keeping everyone informed of craft related news in Sheffield.
